Family Promise of Greater Orlando, a nonprofit 501c3 agency, is creating a premier annual event for all pickleball players in the region. Participants of the event will donate 100% of the profits to families experiencing homelessness in Central Florida. Our mission is to help families achieve sustainable housing and self-sufficiency through a community-based response.

Your participation will enable us to continue advocating for and bolstering awareness of unhoused people in Central FL. Homelessness is not an issue in faraway places, it's happening right in our neighborhood.

 

​There is still a lot of work to be done in Central FL, and we need your help to make sure that no child sleeps in a car.  

​

Family Promise of Greater Orlando is an organization that fills in those gaps by providing families with prevention services such as rental assistance, shelter if the family is unhoused, intense case management to guide a family back to self-sufficiency, among many other services.

 

When the obstacle of housing insecurity is removed, children experience increased academic achievement in school and increase opportunities for success in their lives.
